Steven A. Heintz

As group product manager, Flash Platform Tools, at Adobe Systems, Steven Heintz manages the direction and strategy for Adobe Flash Builder and Adobe Flash Catalyst. He has led the Flash Catalyst team since the product's inception. Flash Catalyst is a new interaction-design tool for creating application interfaces and interactive content rapidly and without coding. Flash Builder is Adobe's IDE for developing, debugging, and profiling Flash applications that leverage the Flex framework.

Prior to Adobe, Heintz was a director of product management and product marketing at Wind River Systems. He was responsible for the company's developer tools product line.

Earlier in his career, Heintz founded Adia Information Management, an early Software as a Service (SaaS) provider. Adia was one of the first companies to focus on the development and management of subscription-based web applications. The company was eventually acquired by Netsmart Technologies. (Nasdaq: NTST).

Prior to founding Adia, Steve was briefly at Microsoft Corp. in Redmond, WA.

The Michigan Economic Development Council and Forbes Magazine selected Steven Heintz as the Entrepreneur of the Year (Under 30) in 2003.

Mr. Heintz has been profiled as a Technology Leader of Michigan by Crain's Detroit Business, and was named one of the 100 Emerging Business Leaders of Michigan by The Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce.

An application service provider (SaaS) founded in 1997. Adia's three business units were focused on managed healthcare software, Touchscreen, Internet based point-of-sale systems, and web-based CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

The Adia CareNet business unit was acquired by Creative Socio-Medics / Netsmart of Islip, NY in June 2003 (NASDAQ: NTST). At the time of the acquisition, Adia's CareNet system, linked over 95% of the mental health and public health agencies in the state.
